How to send airtime to Zimbabwe from the UK
Why sending airtime beats sending cash
If you have family or friends in Zimbabwe, topping up their phone directly is often faster and cheaper than sending money. There's no cash-out queue, no agent fee on their side, and the airtime or data lands on their number within seconds of your payment clearing.
From the UK you can pay with any bank card. RechargeAlways converts the dollar price to rands at checkout (US$1 = R18.50) and processes the payment securely through PayFast — you never share your card details with us.
Step by step
1. Go to the Buy page and choose Zimbabwe.
2. Pick the recipient's network — Econet, NetOne, TelOne or Telecel.
3. Choose a bundle or enter a custom airtime amount between US$1 and US$30.
4. Enter the recipient's Zimbabwean number, starting with the country code +263.
5. Sign in (or create a free account) and pay by card or instant EFT.
6. The top-up is delivered to the number within seconds, and your receipt page confirms delivery.
What it costs
You pay the network's price plus a small service fee: 2.85% on orders above US$3, or a fixed R1 on smaller orders. The fee is shown before you pay, and the recipient receives the full voucher value.
Example: a US$10 Econet top-up costs US$10.29 all-in. There are no other charges.
Tips for a smooth top-up
Double-check the network before paying — an Econet top-up can't be delivered to a NetOne number.
If the phone is switched off or out of coverage, the top-up still lands; the recipient sees it when they next check their balance.
Keep your order link. If anything goes wrong, open a support ticket with your order reference and we'll investigate with the network.
